Base, backfill, drainage

Every wall we build gets a compacted base, clean stone backfill and drainage behind it so hydrostatic pressure has somewhere to go. On a Paulding County hillside after a hard rain, that is the difference between a wall that is still straight in ten years and one that is bellied out in three.

Hardscape and landscape together

Because we do both, the wall and the planting around it get designed as one thing. You are not coordinating a mason and a landscaper and hoping the grades match — same crew, same plan, one estimate.
